Joe started Skeeter Creek in 2002 with his best friend, the late Tim Seabolt. Joe started playing guitar at age 11, but as with most, life got in the way the guitar got put aside until 1997. Since then, the love of music and performing has been the drive to make and continue Skeeter Creek to be the ultimate Country Party Band in the Northeast, winning countless awards in the nearly 20 seasons of performing. Joe was awarded Guitarist of the Year in the 2017 Times Union Reader’s Choice Poll and was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 by the Northeast Country Music Association.
