Jeff has been playing drums since he was 15. He started with the guitar, trying to follow in the footsteps of his greatest adolescent musical influence, his father, but it just didn’t feel right. One afternoon, at his fathers rehearsal room, he sat behind his drummers kit and alas, he found his love and passion and never looked back. He self taught the basics, but has taken professional drum lessons from Mike Johnston (educator and former drummer of Simon Says) and Dante Roberson (Alicia Keyes). Whether its country, metal or pop, Jeff, defines his drumming styling by understanding texture, accents, having a solid meter and feel for his instrument. Jeff’s passion for drumming is clear and evident by his live performances. If you’ve seen him live, you already know this. Jeff bleeds passion for his craft and always leaves a little bit of his soul on the drum throne.
